Arsenal & Chelsea target opens door for EPL move
Arsenal and Chelsea target Jonathan David has opened the door to moving to the Premier League next summer.
The Canada international has been linked with an exit from Lille for the past few years, but a move has not materialised.
His current deal expires at the end of the season and reports claim that he is likely to walk away on a free transfer next summer.
David has now revealed his dream of playing in the Premier League, but added that he is open to challenges elsewhere.
He said: "I am open to anything. I think obviously the Premier League is regarded as one of the best leagues in the world.
"And for me, it is not the Premier League or bust. I am open to anything and every league has its challenges."
David was under consideration of the Blues earlier this summer, but they eventually decided against an approach.
Arsenal have also been linked with him on multiple occasions. It is left to be seen whether they consider a move.
Lille could be tempted to sanction his sale for a cut-price fee in January rather than losing him on a free transfer.
