Chelsea striker has joined Goztepe on loan
Chelsea striker David Datro Fofana has completed a season-long loan move to Turkish side Goztepe.
The Ivorian was deemed surplus to requirements by the Blues and he has now joined an exciting project.
Goztepe have high ambitions for the campaign and Fofana is likely to emerge as their leading marksman.
The Super Lig outfit have the option to buy him for £20 million, but it is unlikely that they will afford the fee.
Meanwhile, the Blues have a recall clause on Fofana and they can activate the same during the winter transfer window .
Should Fofana go on to impress with regular goals, the Blues could terminate his loan to sell him elsewhere.
Ben Chilwell was also predicted to leave the club, but the left-back has made the decision to stay for the time being.
The Englishman will rejoin the Blues in first-team training, but there is a high chance that he could be sold this winter.
