Arsenal wonderkids expected to start vs Bolton Wanderers
Arsenal wonderkids Ethan Nwaneri and Miles Lewis-Skelly are expected to start in the third round of the Carabao Cup against Bolton Wanderers.
The Gunners played out a 2-2 Premier League draw against Manchester City on Sunday. They were down to 10 men at the half-time break, but managed to salvage a point through a superb defensive performance.
Lewis-Skelly made his senior debut for the Gunners in stoppage time and the 17-year-old could now feature from the off. The youngster could play at left-back with Riccardo Calafiori and Jurrien Timber likely to be rested.
Meanwhile, Nwaneri could start from the number 10 role instead of Kai Havertz . The youngster has been patiently waiting on the wings and looks set for his maiden start in the Gunners shirt on Wednesday night.
Arsenal are overwhelming favourites to beat Bolton in the Carabao Cup. Manager Mikel Arteta is bound to make wholesale changes following a tough and testing outing against City away from home on Sunday.
