Chelsea open to selling two central defenders?
Chelsea are open to parting ways with Axel Disasi and Benoit Badiashile when the transfer window reopens in the New Year.
Disasi was linked with a move to Newcastle United this summer, but a deal did not materialise before the transfer deadline on August 30.
The Magpies continue to monitor him closely and there is a possibility that they could return for his services at the turn of the year.
Meanwhile, Badiashile has been a long-term target for AC Milan and the Rossoneri are contemplating an approach for ex-Monaco man.
Chelsea currently have Wesley Fofana and Levi Colwill as the regular centre-backs with Tosin Adarabioyo being the immediate back-up.
Disasi and Badiashile are the fourth and fifth-choice options in the squad, and both could leave in January so that the club can re-invest on a signing.
The Blues made a late and unsuccessful attempt to land Benfica's Tomas Araujo last month and they could return for the talented ace in January.
