Ten Hag has been under immense pressure over the past few games and his situation is unlikely to have improved after back-to-back draws last week.

Romano has now revealed that United will assess the manager's position. The hierarchy are scheduled to hold a meeting over the same tomorrow.

If Ten Hag were to be sacked, Romano feels Tuchel will be a strong candidate to takeover, having previously talked about the job this summer.

The German had direct talks with co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe , but he eventually decided to take a break after his stint with Bayern Munich.
