21yo star opens door to Arsenal transfer in future
Sturm Graz striker Mika Biereth has opened the door to rejoining Arsenal in the coming transfer windows.
The Dane left the Gunners for Graz on a permanent deal this summer after having impressed on loan with them.
He has had a superb start to the campaign with eight goals in 13 games.
Biereth also scored for the Denmark Under 21s against Czechia recently and following the 5-0 win, he told TV2:
"If I keep playing well and scoring goals, hopefully a change can come, but right now I’m focused on Sturm and on doing well and scoring goals.
"A return back to Arsenal would be fantastic, but it’s not something I’m focusing on right now."
Biereth had a good 2023/24 season on loan with Motherwell and Graz. He registered 15 goals and nine assists.
Despite this, he did not break into the first-team plans at Arsenal and the club had no problem in selling him.
The 21-year-old is a traditional striker and did not fit into Mikel Arteta 's plans due to his languid playing style.
