Arsenal make January decision on Victor Osimhen
Arsenal have no plans of signing Victor Osimhen from Napoli during the January transfer window, according to Football Insider.
The Nigeria international was on the radar of several elite European clubs last summer, but none were willing to meet Napoli's £100 million valuation.
Chelsea came closest to landing Osimhen on loan before the deadline, but a deal did not materialise due to differences over weekly wages.
Osimhen eventually joined Galatasaray on loan, but there is a break clause in January. This could be activated if Napoli receive a solid offer.
Napoli agreed a low release clause of £68m with Osimhen last month, but Arsenal are still not interested in securing his signature this winter.
With the fine form of Kai Havertz up front, the Gunners are prepared to wait until the end of the campaign before making a marquee signing.
RB Leipzig's Benjamin Sesko and Newcastle United's Alexander Isak are apparently the club's preferred targets to bolster the striking department.
