Amorim plans to bring two Sporting stars to United
Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has his sights on bringing two Sporting Lisbon players to Old Trafford, according to Sacha Tavolieri.
The Portuguese agreed to become United's new head coach last week and he is expected to take charge when the international break begins.
Amorim is unlikely to make any significant changes to the squad in January, but the club are expected to back him with funds next summer.
Tavolieri claims that stabilising the defence is the main aim for Amorim and Inacio is the number one target for the Portuguese next summer.
The 39-year-old is also likely to target other players from Sporting and it is claimed that Ousmane Diomande could follow Inacio to Old Trafford.
United are unlikely to sign either player on the cheap. Inacio has a release clause worth £50m while Diomande's buy-out value stands at £67m.
Premier League rivals are also monitoring the duo, but United could have the upper hand with Amorim having worked with the duo at Sporting.
