Arsenal ready to hand new contract to Belgian star?
Arsenal are ready to hand a new long-term contract to Leandro Trossard amid interest from the Saudi Pro League.
The Belgian has been a key player for the Gunners since his arrival from
Brighton in January 2023. He has made several key goal contributions.
Trossard has recently suffered a dip in form in all competitions, but the Gunners continue to consider him as a huge part of their future plans.
The 29-year-old has two years left in his current contract, but Arsenal are ready to hand him a pay rise amid the interest from the Middle East.
Al-Ittihad tried to sign Trossard on loan with an option to buy for €35m last summer and they are already planning to make a better proposal.
However, Arsenal remain determined to keep hold of their prized asset and are prepared to reward him to end any uncertainty over his future.
Trossard will enter the final year of his contract next summer. Arsenal plan to renew his stay for another couple of seasons with a decent salary hike.
