Mohamed Salah is leaving Liverpool next summer
Liverpool star Mohamed Salah will part ways with the club when his contract expires next summer, according to former Everton CEO Keith Wyness.
The Egypt international has been in sensational form for the Merseyside giants this campaign. He has bagged 10 goals and 10 assists from 17 outings.
Arne Slot has repeatedly said that he is a key player in the squad but Wyness has claimed that the attacker will move to the Middle East in the summer.
He said: "I’m hearing that, finally, Salah will be off to the Middle East. That is what I am being told. Liverpool are managing the media spin.
"Slot will have a much stronger opinion on these matters, and his voice will be heard on these issues more and more after his good start."
Salah was the subject of interest from Al-Ittihad in the summer of 2023, but the Reds turned down a huge €150m proposal to sell him.
Saudi Pro League clubs did not make a serious approach last summer, and they are now expected to focus on a free transfer agreement.
Salah is free to negotiate with foreign clubs at the turn of the year and Liverpool have a huge task on their hands to renew his stay.
