Man Utd midfielder 'expected to leave' next year - Fabrizio Romano
Manchester United midfielder Christian Eriksen is expected to leave when his contract concludes at the end of the season, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Dane has been in good form for the Red Devils this campaign and he has already managed seven goal contributions across all competitions.
However, he is unlikely to remain a regular starter going forward as new manager Ruben Amorim prefers players with a tireless work rate.
He also demands regular high pressing from his midfielders and Eriksen may not be able to offer the same from the starting line-up for United.
Romano now reports that the decision has been made to offload Eriksen when his current deal concludes at the end of June next year.
Amorim's opinion will be considered by the club, but United are most likely to offload Eriksen on a free transfer when the season concludes.
Eriksen has been linked with a reunion with Ajax in the last few months.
