Mikel Arteta confirms two Arsenal stars are out of Palace game
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed that he will be without two stars for the upcoming Carabao Cup quarter-final against Crystal Palace at the Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners welcome the Eagles for tomorrow's London derby in the Carabao Cup and ahead of the game, Arteta has provided an update on who could be fit in time.
The manager said that Declan Rice is fine after his minor knock against Everton and he could make the matchday squad depending on a late fitness test.
However, the Spaniard added that Riccardo Calafiori and Oleksandr Zinchenko have not recovered from their injuries and won't make the squad for the game.
Arsenal are unbeaten since the international break, but they have drawn two of their last three league games. They need to respond with a strong win against the Eagles.
The Gunners are without silverware for the last four years and the Carabao Cup represents their best opportunity to win a trophy this campaign.
