Amorim speaks on Rashford after Bournemouth loss
Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim sent a blunt message to reporters when asked about the future of Marcus Rashford.
The Red Devils suffered a disappointing 3-0 Premier League loss to Bournemouth at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.
Rashford was absent from the matchday squad for the third game running and when pressed on the reason, Amorim replied:
"The game that we want to play is a game with possession that dominates the other team.
"Every player can fit in this system, so it’s just selection and I try to take the best of the players in a way they can understand."
Rashford recently said that he would like a new challenge away from United after being dropped for the Manchester derby.
He has since been ignored for the next two games in all competitions and we won't be surprised if the ongoing trend continues.
With the transfer window reopening soon, United could open the door for his exit on a temporary basis at least.
