Napoli manager wants to sign Man Utd striker
Napoli manager Antonio Conte has his sights on landing Manchester United striker Joshua Zirkzee this winter, according to Il Mattino.
The Dutchman signed for the Red Devils from Bologna last summer. He has been hugely disappointing with just four goals in all competitions.
This has led to speculation regarding his future and Il Mattino claim that Conte is eager to bring him back to Serie A in January.
There has been contact made with the player's representative, but it is unclear whether United would entertain losing him in a short notice.
United spent around £36 million to sign him from Bologna and they may want to recoup the entire fee to contemplate his winter departure.
Napoli don't have readymade funds at the moment and it is claimed that a deal could depend on Victor Osimhen 's permanent sale.
Osimhen is currently on loan with Galatasaray, but Napoli are prepared to recall him if they receive around £62 million for his transfer.
