Man Utd to swoop for Serie A midfielder after Onana?
Manchester United could swoop for the services of Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat after securing the signing of Andre Onana.
Onana had his medical with the club earlier today, and reports claim that he has already signed a five-year contract for €134,000-a-week.
The club's next focus could be a midfielder, according to Rai Sport. They could secure the signing of Amrabat in the coming days.
The Moroccan has made it clear that he would like to leave Fiorentina, but the Serie A outfit are reluctant to sell him for less than €30m.
United recently made a low transfer bid for him, and it now appears they are ready to meet the demands of Fiorentina for the 26-year-old.
Amrabat has a strong relationship with manager Erik ten Hag. The Dutchman handed him his senior club debut at Utrecht.
Hence, personal terms could be a mere formality if United can reach an agreement with the Italian club over the transfer figure.
