Chelsea now ready to pay £80m to sign Pochettino's top target
Chelsea are now prepared to pay £80 million to sign Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Moises Caicedo this summer.
The west London giants have been determined to land the Ecuadorian star since January, but they are yet to convince the Seagulls.
The Blues recently failed with a £70m bid for the 21-year-old, and they are ready to make an improved offer in the region of £80m.
However, this may not be enough to secure an agreement. Brighton are quite clear that they want £100m at least for Mauricio Pochettino 's top target.
The South Coast outfit have kept Declan Rice 's move to Arsenal as a reference, and believe Caicedo is equally talented as the English star.
Arsenal and Liverpool are also keeping tabs on the youngster but as things stand, it is unlikely that they will make an approach for his services.
The Gunners need to recoup funds through player sales first while Liverpool could consider a move after Fabinho's move to Saudi Arabia.
