Arsenal star could push for transfer to Serie A club
Arsenal striker Folarin Balogun could push to join Inter Milan once they make a formal transfer offer for him.
The USA international spent the previous season on loan with Reims where he scored 22 goals and provided three assists.
He is now eager to pursue a fresh challenge in the search for regular minutes, and it is claimed that Inter are favourites to sign him.
The Nerazzurri are currently reluctant to pay the Gunners' asking price of €40m, and are hopeful of negotiating a better deal.
The club are looking to sign him on loan with an obligation to buy for around €35m at the end of the campaign.
Arsenal are not receptive to such an offer, but Inter believe Balogun could play a big role in finalising the transfer.
The Nerazzurri feel that Balogun will start pressurising the Gunners as soon as they make an official bid to sign him.
Balogun is currently training individually away from the main group.
