Serie A club increase asking price for Man Utd target
Fiorentina have reportedly increased their asking price for midfielder Sofyan Amrabat amid interest from Manchester United.
The Morocco international has entered the final year of his contract with the Florence outfit, but the club have the option to extend for another year.
Hence, they are not desperate to sell him at the moment, and it is claimed that the club have raised their price tag for his services.
Amrabat was valued at around €30 million earlier this summer, but the Serie A club are now eyeing €35 million to sanction his exit.
The 26-year-old is currently on United's summer shortlist, but a deal could depend on funds recouped from midfield departures.
Fred and Donny van de Beek are among those that could leave in the coming weeks. The duo could fetch close to €30m.
Amrabat has also been linked with Barcelona heavily after their failed loan move in January, but they have other priorities now.
Atletico Madrid were also associated with an approach for him, but the La Liga giants don't intend to meet the asking price.
