West Ham United agree terms with Chelsea target
West Ham United have agreed personal terms with Ajax star Mohammed Kudus over a summer transfer.
The Ghana international was in superb form for his club last season. He netted 19 goals and provided seven assists from 42 appearances.
He has made the decision to pursue a new challenge this summer. Brighton were earlier interested, but they could not convince him.
The Hammers have now agreed terms with the 23-year-old star, and they are currently in discussions with Ajax over a deal worth £35m.
Chelsea are also firm admirers of the talented attacker. They expressed an interest earlier this summer, but have yet to make an offer.
The west London giants could make a late approach to hijack the deal after missing out on signing Michael Olise from Crystal Palace .
The Blues made the decision to trigger the release clause in Olise's contract, but pulled out of the transfer after tapping up accusations.
The Frenchman has now signed a long-term contract with Palace.
