Amorim prepared to offload Man Utd midfielder in January
Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has given the green light to part ways with midfielder Casemiro during the next transfer window.
Casemiro had a difficult start to the campaign and he was criticised by fans and pundits after his double blunder against
Liverpool at Old Trafford.
However, he has since redeemed himself with several stand-out performances. He was brilliant for United under interim boss Ruud van Nistelrooy .
Despite this, Amorim is prepared to part ways with the former Real Madrid man. He does not feel the need for two defensive midfielders in the XI.
Manuel Ugarte is expected to start as the regular no.6 going forward. Kobbie Mainoo and Toby Collyer could play in the position if he is rested.
Casemiro is on the radar of multiple Saudi Pro League clubs and United are hoping to recoup around £30m through his sale in the winter period.
United are planning a mini-spending spree in the next transfer window and Casemiro's move to the Middle East could boost their spending prospects.
