Juventus want to sign Chelsea defender in January
Serie A giants Juventus have their sights on signing Chelsea defender Benoit Badiashile when the transfer window reopens at the turn of the year.
The Bianconeri have recently suffered huge injury setbacks with Gleison Bremer and Juan Cabal sidelined with anterior cruciate ligament injuries.
The Turin giants are expected to find replacements for the duo this winter. Badiashile has been identified as the ideal option to provide cover for Bremer.
The French centre-back joined the Blues in January last year with huge expectations, but he has struggled to cope with the league's intensity.
The former Monaco man has been limited to playing time in the Cup competitions and this could urge him to move on in the near future.
Chelsea are not looking into a mid-season sale, but they could be tempted into doing so if the Bianconeri make a lucrative offer on the table.
The Blues are unlikely to entertain a loan deal with an option to buy. The Bianconeri may have to include an obligation to buy to seal a deal.
