Turkey star on his way to Man Utd for second medical
Fenerbahce goalkeeper Altay Bayindir is on his way to Manchester United for a second round of medical tests.
The Turkey international underwent a pre-medical with the club earlier this week and they are now close to signing him.
An agreement has been reached over a transfer package worth €7m, and he will be permitted to leave for England soon.
On his arrival, he is set to undergo another medical with the club before putting pen-to-paper on a long-term contract.
Meanwhile, there are contradicting reports from Germany which suggest that United are also interested in Odysseas Vlachodimos .
The club have reportedly agreed personal terms with the Benfica goalkeeper and he is the top target for manager Erik ten Hag.
Unlike Bayindir, he will cost much more at €15m. United could decide between the two before the transfer window closes next week.
United have so far made three summer signings in Mason Mount , Andre Onana and Rasmus Hojlund . The latter has yet to make his debut.
