Man Utd agree personal terms with Chelsea star Marc Cucurella
Manchester United have agreed personal terms with Chelsea left-back Marc Cucurella over an initial loan deal.
The Red Devils are currently in a crisis with Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia on the sidelines with lengthy injuries.
As a result, they don't have a senior left-back in the squad and this has encouraged them to land Cucurella.
The Spaniard has now agreed personal terms with the Mancunian giants, and will proceed to speak with Chelsea .
The Blues want a hefty loan fee of around £7m from United and want his wages to be covered in full this term.
United's first loan proposal was around £2m, but they remain optimistic of finding a middle ground very soon.
The club were also looking at Marcos Alonso and Sergio Reguilon , but will now focus on signing Cucurella alone.
The former Brighton & Hove Albion star is eager to join the Red Devils before the transfer window closes on Friday.
Him and Altay Bayindir could be the final summer signings for United.
