Chelsea and Spurs want to sign Barcelona star?
Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are keeping tabs on Barcelona star Ansu Fati ahead of the transfer deadline this week.
The 20-year-old has featured off the bench in the first three La Liga games this term, and he is open to leaving the club in the coming days.
There has been a host of speculation surrounding Fati's future in the last 12 months and his father admitted in March that his son wants to leave the club for regular game time.
According to Fabrizio Romano , Fati's situation is 'one to watch' in the closing stages of the window. Spurs have asked to be kept informed but the Blues are also in the mix.
Barcelona are open to sanctioning a loan deal for the La Masia graduate, provided the interested club is willing to pay his entire weekly wages as part of the agreement.
Spurs are leading the pursuit of the young attacker, but the likes of Chelsea and Arsenal can't be ruled out of the race. The Blues are signing Cole Palmer , but may also move for Fati.
