Al-Ittihad to make huge £200m bid to sign Mohamed Salah
Saudi Arabian champions Al-Ittihad are prepared to make a world-record bid of £200m to sign Liverpool star Mohamed Salah.
The Egypt international has been a pivotal player for the Premier League club, and he continues to make regular goal contributions.
Jurgen Klopp has insisted that Salah is going nowhere this summer, but Al-Ittihad refuse to give up on landing his signature.
Liverpool recently turned down a deal worth £150m for the 31-year-old, but their resolve could be tested in the next 48 hours.
Al-Ittihad are keen to land Salah's services before the Saudi Arabian transfer window closes on the 7th of September.
They are prepared to make a record offer of £200m, according to Daily Mail . The majority of the fee will be paid up front.
It remains to be seen whether Liverpool can be persuaded to accept such an offer. Salah is open to joining Al-Ittihad if a deal is agreed.
The Egyptian is currently happy playing for the Merseyside giants, but has not ruled out the possibility of leaving the Anfield club.
