Liverpool handed injury boost ahead of Tottenham clash
Liverpool have been handed an injury boost ahead of the Premier League clash against Tottenham Hotspur on the road.
The Merseyside giants have made a fine start to the campaign and they are currently second in the standings, only two points behind leaders Manchester City.
They will be eyeing a sixth straight win when they face Spurs tomorrow, but it won't be easy, considering the north London giants are also unbeaten in the league.
Ahead of the game, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has confirmed a big boost with Trent Alexander -Arnold in contention to play following his recent injury.
He said: "Trent trained yesterday normal and will train today normal, and then we have to make a decision."
"He will be in the squad, I'm not a doctor so cannot make that decision, but it looks like he can be in the squad tomorrow and play."
Liverpool have had a tremendous turnaround following their summer spending and they are currently looking like genuine challengers for the top-flight title.
A victory over Spurs at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium would further enhance their title credentials. Liverpool have lost just once to Spurs over the last 11 years.
