Erik ten Hag confirms attacker could face Galatasaray
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has confirmed that Antony is in consideration to face Galatasaray in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
The Red Devils started their European campaign with a 4-3 loss at Bayern Munich and they will be determined to beat the Turkish champions at Old Trafford tomorrow.
Ahead of the game, Ten Hag has revealed that Antony worked with his teammates yesterday and he is in contention for tomorrow's Champions League group game.
The news is a huge boost for the Red Devils, who have lacked the cutting edge to their game play from the right wing. Antony is the club's best option for the attacking role.
Ten Hag has played Bruno Fernandes and Facundo Pellistri from the position in recent weeks. He will be delighted to recall the services of Antony from the right flank.
While Antony is available for selection, the club will be without Lisandro Martinez for three months at least as he requires a fresh surgery on the fifth metatarsal in his right foot.
