Chelsea lining up move for UCL finalist?
Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing Inter Milan defender Federico Dimarco when the transfer window reopens in January.
The Blues currently have Marc Cucurella , Ben Chilwell and Ian Maatsen as their left-back options. Centre-back Levi Colwill has also played in the defensive role.
Despite this, the club are exploring an addition in the department. Maatsen is expected to be sold in January while Chilwell has been injury prone.
According to Calciomercato, the Blues have their sights on Dimarco who has been in fantastic form for the Nerazzurri over the past year.
The Italian has another three years left on his contract with the San Siro giants, but he could be available for around £50 million.
Manchester United are also admirers of the 25-year-old, but they are unlikely to compete financially with the Blues this winter.
Dimarco started his career from the left-back spot, but he has been transformed into a genuine left wing-back in his time at Inter Milan.
