Man Utd enter talks with German club to sign attacker
Manchester United have opened negotiations with Borussia Dortmund to sign winger Donyell Malen ahead of the New Year.
The Dutchman has been a key player for the Bundesliga outfit with 40 goal contributions in less than 100 appearances.
However, he has been in-and-out of the line-up this term and he is said to be exploring a new challenge at the turn of the year.
United have now expressed an interest in signing him and BILD claim that Dortmund are prepared to sell him for €30 million.
They are also open to negotiating a swap deal for the 24-year-old, provided United allow Jadon Sancho to move the other way.
Sancho is currently out-of-favour with Erik ten Hag after criticising the manager and he has no future with United going forward.
He is prepared to move on at the start of 2024 and United may need to accept a significant loss on the €85m paid to buy him.
Juventus have also been linked with the England international, but they are only looking into a loan deal with an option to buy.
