Southampton defender Kyle Walker-Peters has been linked with a move to West Ham in the January transfer window, as the right-back appears to be top of David Moyes' transfer wish list for January. Walker-Peters made his debut for England in March
West Ham currently have a wealth of defensive talent, but there remains uncertainty over the long-term future of Vladimir Coufal at the Hammers. The Czech defender has been an almost ever-present at the club since his arrival, but United are looking to the future with a move for the 26-year-old defender.
Walker-Peters has played 21 games in the Championship, scoring two goals, but is desperate for a return to the Premier League. and so far it is clear that Ipswich Town and Leicester City are likely to see promotion to the Premier League, leaving the Saints in fourth place at this time.
Walker-Peters has been a regular in the top flight, with seven years of first-team experience at Southampton and prior to that three years with Tottenham at White Hart Lane.
West Ham are ready to pay around £20 million to sign defender.
