Man Utd midfielder undergoes medical ahead of Bundesliga move
Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek has successfully undergone his medical ahead of his loan transfer to Eintracht Frankfurt.
The Dutchman has been a huge flop for the Red Devils. He has made just four goal contributions from 62 appearances in all competitions.
United are more than happy to offload him and Florian Plettenberg has confirmed that his medical with Frankfurt was completed earlier today.
The club are now discussing the final terms of the loan move. As part of the deal, Frankfurt won't be paying any fee for the switch.
However, they will have an option to buy him at the end of the campaign. The value will be lesser than €10m, as per Plettenberg.
United made a poor choice in purchasing the 26-year-old three years ago and they have now decided to cut their losses on him.
He was signed for €39m in the summer of 2020. They will be hoping to receive €10m if Van de Beek shines in the Bundesliga.
