Predicted Arsenal line-up (4-3-3) vs Liverpool, Odegaard starts
Arsenal will be eyeing back-to-back wins in the Premier League when they face Liverpool on the road this evening.
The Gunners are currently top of the standings with 39 points. A draw or a win at Anfield will ensure that they keep their place for Christmas.
Predicted Line-up:
David Raya has been the Gunners' undisputed starter in goal since the September international break. He is expected to start between the sticks ahead of Aaron Ramsdale .
The backline should stay the same from the 2-0 win over Brighton & Hove Albion with Ben White , William Saliba , Gabriel Magalhaes and Oleksandr Zinchenko keeping their places.
Zinchenko has been prone defensively on occasions and he must avoid this with Mohamed Salah in the opposition ranks. In midfield, it should be the same combination from last weekend.
With Jorginho doubtful with a foot issue, Declan Rice should continue as the defensive midfielder. Kai Havertz and Martin Odegaard should partner him in the centre of the park.
Further forward, no changes are on the cards. Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli should continue out wide with Gabriel Jesus leading the line. Martinelli and Jesus scored in the 2-2 draw at Anfield last time out.
Predicted Arsenal line-up (4-3-3): Raya; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko; Rice, Odegaard, Havertz; Saka, Jesus, Martinelli.
