Man Utd make transfer decision on Choupo-Moting
Manchester United have no plan to pursue a deal for Bayern Munich striker Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting this month.
The Cameroonian star has netted only three goals in the current campaign and has been out-of-favour for a regular role.
He is prepared to leave the German champions immediately and reports recently claimed that United could move for him.
However, Fussball News have dismissed the story by highlighting that United have changed their transfer policy for the future.
They are no longer keen on landing experienced and expensive stars and are likely to focus on fresh and young acquisitions.
Hence, Choupo-Moting is unlikely to be signed by the Red Devils and they are likely to focus on other alternatives this month.
Timo Werner was deemed as a top target for the club, but it appears that Tottenham Hotspur have won the battle to sign him.
The north London giants are also discussing an option to sign Werner permanently at the conclusion of the campaign.
