Man Utd agree €35m buy back clause for midfielder
Manchester United have agreed a buy back clause worth €35m in Hannibal Mejbri's move to Sevilla, according to RMC Sport.
The Red Devils graduate has signed for the Spanish outfit on loan until the end of the season. They will have an option to buy him for €20m.
The La Liga giants are expected to trigger the clause at the end of the campaign but United could retain his services in future.
As part of the deal, the club have inserted a €35m buy-back clause and that is likely to become active from the summer of 2025.
Mejbri failed to get sufficient opportunities under manager Erik ten Hag and he has made the right decision to pursue a new club.
The Red Devils wanted him to join Everton in the Premier League, but Mejbri was quite clear that he wanted to sign for Sevilla.
The Andalusian outfit are struggling at the tailend of the league standings, and Mejbri will be aiming to help them avoid the drop.
