Arsenal favourites ahead of Man Utd to sign Dutch striker
Arsenal have moved ahead of Manchester United in the race to sign Bologna striker Joshua Zirkzee at the end of the campaign.
The Dutchman has had a good second year with the Serie A outfit, scoring eight goals and providing four assists from 22 games.
His progress has caught the eye of Arsenal and United, but Gazzetta dello Sport claim that the Gunners are leading the queue.
The north London giants have already set aside €50 million for Zirkzee which they will spend during next summer's transfer window .
It is unclear whether Bologna will accept the transfer proposal, considering Rasmus Hojlund joined United for a much higher fee last year.
Bologna have taken the Dane's move to Old Trafford as an example and there are suggestions that they could demand as much as €80m.
Bayern have the option to re-sign Zirkzee for €40m, but it seems unlikely to happen with Harry Kane being an undisputed starter for them.
