Erik ten Hag confirms Man Utd striker decision
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has revealed that the club don't plan to add another striker to the squad in the current transfer window.
The Red Devils find themselves in a Financial Fair Play mess due to their overspending and they can't afford any signings this winter.
This has already been reported by The Athletic and when pressed on the matter, Ten Hag acknowledged that the story is indeed true.
Speaking in today's press conference, the Dutchman said that the club can't address the lack of quantity up front after Anthony Martial 's surgery.
He added that there is no room in terms of Financial Fair Play and the Red Devils can't even afford a temporary deal for another marksman.
Rasmus Hojlund will have more pressure on his shoulders with Martial being sidelined for the next 10 weeks after a groin operation.
Marcus Rashford could start up front on occasions when Hojlund needs a rest. United have only the Premier League and FA Cup to play for.
