Man Utd offered chance to sign ex-Barcelona striker?
Manchester United have been offered the chance to sign former Barcelona striker Martin Braithwaite before the transfer deadline.
The Denmark international is currently playing in the second tier of Spanish football with Espanyol where he has scored 11 goals this term.
He is currently contracted until the summer of 2025, but reports claim that he will be allowed to leave the club before Thursday's deadline.
United are one of the clubs that have been communicated over his availability, but it is unclear whether they will afford his signature.
Erik ten Hag recently said that the club have no space in terms of Financial Fair Play and they won't sign another striker this winter.
The same has been reported by The Athletic who claim that United are not in a position to afford even a loan deal by deadline day.
Hence, it seems unlikely that United will make a move for Braithwaite, but stranger things have happened in football over the years.
