Mauricio Pochettino confirms injury blow for key defender
Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed that Levi Colwill will be sidelined for the Premier League clash against Liverpool on the road.
The Blues have been in impressive form in the top-flight and they will be aiming to carry the momentum at Anfield tomorrow night.
Ahead of the game, Pochettino has revealed that the club won't have the services of Colwill due to a minor injury to his tendon.
Colwill missed the FA Cup fourth round tie versus Aston Villa for the same reason and he has not recovered in time to face the Reds.
Chelsea have drawn each of the last five league games versus Jurgen Klopp 's side, but they will be underdogs on Wednesday.
Klopp recently announced that he would be leaving at the end of the season and the atmosphere will be pretty hostile for the Blues.
If the Blues manage to beat the Merseyside outfit, it would be a huge morale booster for the back end of the current campaign.
