Predicted Chelsea line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Liverpool, Malo Gusto starts
Chelsea travel to Anfield for tonight's key Premier League clash against leaders Liverpool. The Blues will be aiming to beat the Reds for the first time since March 2021.
Predicted Line-up:
Djordje Petrovic has done a tremendous job in goal in the absence of Robert Sanchez . He is expected to continue between the sticks against Jurgen Klopp 's side.
In defence, Malo Gusto should return at right-back after recovering from a minor injury. Axel Disasi and Thiago Silva should make up the central defence. Ben Chilwell looks set to continue in the left-back spot.
Mauricio Pochettino is likely to pick his best midfield combination for the game. Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez are expected to start in the centre of the park.
Conor Gallagher should feature in the number 10 role with Raheem Sterling and Mykhailo Mudyrk on the wings. Up front, Cole Palmer could lead the line despite misfiring against Aston Villa in the FA Cup.
The Englishman was guilty of squandering several clear-cut chances, but he should get the backing with Nicolas Jackson having only recently arrived after Senegal duty.
