Saudi giants ready to offer £50m per year contract to key Man Utd star
Saudi Arabian giants Al-Nassr are prepared to hand a bumper contract worth £50 million per year to Manchester United defender Raphael Varane.
Varane has been a key player for the Red Devils in the past two-and-a-half years but he has also suffered plenty of injury setbacks.
As a result, the club have decided against extending his deal beyond the summer and he is expected to leave on a free transfer.
A number of European clubs are tracking him, but Daily Star claim that Al-Nassr are keen to reunite him with Cristiano Ronaldo .
Ronaldo and Varane have played together at Real Madrid and United and the former wants to reunite with his close friend again.
Al-Nassr are ready to tempt Varane with a mega contract worth £50m per season. He is unlikely to receive anywhere close to that in Europe.
In fact, he may need to accept a huge pay-cut on his current €18m annual salary if he wishes to join another European side this summer.
