Man Utd planning summer swoop for Brazilian defender
Manchester United are preparing to spend big money on Juventus defender Gleison Bremer at the end of the campaign.
The Brazilian star is currently one of the most-sought central defenders in the Italian top-flight and he could pursue a new challenge soon.
His current deal does not expire until the summer of 2028, but Juventus are open to selling him for the right price amid FFP issues.
They value him in the region of €70m and are prepared to discuss a deal with the Red Devils, provided they meet the exact figure.
United are expected to sign a new central defender this summer with Raphael Varane anticipated to leave the club on a free transfer.
The club have no plans of renewing his current €400,000-a-week deal and Varane looks set to leave unless he accept a huge pay-cut.
That seems unlikely to happen as things stand. Bremer could end up as his successor. United face direct competition from Spurs for him.
