Erik ten Hag breaks silence on Rashford exit rumours
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has insisted that the club have no intention of selling Marcus Rashford to Paris Saint-Germain this summer.
The England international has been a long-term target for Les Parisiens and it was recently reported that they could land him as a replacement for Mbappe.
Mbappe is set to leave on a free transfer and it has been claimed that Rashford has been identified as an ideal replacement for the World Cup winner.
Amidst this, Ten Hag has clarified that the club did not extend his contract with the intention of selling him, he said: "We did not sign him last season for five years with the intention to sell him now."
"He should be part of this project. So it is not a subject we don't talk about."
Rashford has been in a poor run of form this campaign and he has registered only seven goals and six assists from 34 outings.
Despite this, he continues to be highly regarded by rivals clubs. Les Parisiens continue to monitor him with a view to an approach.
