Despite this, the midfielder is determined to end the season on a high and he has opted against reporting for international duty.

Partey is prepared to build his fitness with the rest of the Gunners squad ahead of the restart after the March international break.

Arsena are currently top of the Premier League with 64 points, but they are only goal difference ahead of second-placed Liverpool .
