AC Milan still interested in signing Arsenal defender
AC Milan remain interested in prising away Arsenal defender Jakub Kiwior during the summer transfer window, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Poland international had minimal game time with the Gunners during the first half of the season. He was linked with a mid-season move to Milan.
The Rossoneri made enquiries to his agent throughout the month, but Kiwior was happy to continue with the Gunners until the summer at least.
The decision has proved a blessing in disguise for the 24-year-old, who has seen plenty of first-team football in the absence of Oleksandr Zinchenko .
Zinchenko's injury paved the way for Kiwior to start regularly at left-back and he has kept his place despite the former's return to the squad.
This has not ended the speculation over his future and it is claimed that Milan will make a renewed approach at the end of the campaign.
It is reported that Arsenal won't offer any discounts on the defender and Milan may need to pay at least €25m to persuade the London side.
