Man Utd want to sign French winger instead of Bakayoko
Manchester United are interested in signing Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise instead of Yohan Bakayoko this summer.
Bakayoko has been a key player for PSV Eindhoven this term and he has already registered 21 goal contributions from 40 games.
He is said to be eyeing a bigger challenge in the summer, but it seems unlikely that United will make an approach for his services.
Fussball.news claim that United are prioritising a deal for Olise, who has six goals and three assists from just nine games this term.
The former Reading man is one of the best young wingers in the Premier League, but he has played limited football this season.
He has been sidelined with three separate hamstring injuries and this is a huge warning sign for his suitors ahead of the summer.
Despite this, United continue to favour a deal for him. They seem prepared to trigger the £60 million release clause in his contract.
Olise has a preference to join the Red Devils over any other club, having followed them closely during his childhood days.
