It was so easy for them - Mauricio Pochettino reacts after Chelsea's draw to Burnley
Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino said that the Blues were not aggressive enough from open play and set pieces against Burnley today.
The west London giants played out a frustrating 2-2 draw against the Clarets at Stamford Bridge. They could have lost the game too.
Speaking after the stalemate, Pochettino said that it was too easy for the Clarets in their final third and his team must improve.
He said: "It was so easy for them to get to our last third. We were not aggressive enough in open play and defending set pieces. We need to improve like a team and be more competitive."
With the defeat, the Blues remain 11th in the Premier League table with 40 points on the board. They must return to winning ways in midweek.
The club face a difficult challenge against Manchester United at home. Anything other than a win could lead to calls for Pochettino to leave.
The Blues are currently in a difficult position and may not even qualify for Europe. Pochettino's future is hanging in the balance at the moment.
