Man Utd midfielder makes U-turn on summer exit plans
Manchester United midfielder Christian Eriksen has made a surprise U-turn on his plans to leave the club this summer.
The Denmark international revealed his disappointment over his lack of playing time earlier this year and said that he had spoken about the same with manager Erik ten Hag.
There were suggestions that he could move on in the summer, but Eriksen has now insisted that he is incredibly happy at United and may not consider a new challenge.
He said: "I still have a year left on the United contract, so for now, I'm still a United player. So what will happen this summer, I don't know."
"But I am incredibly happy to be here. It's a great club and I feel good, so we'll see what happens. But as I said, I have one year left."
Eriksen will enter the final year of his £150,000-a-week deal in July and United are most likely to contemplate his departure.
Galatasaray are among the candidates interested in signing him, but the Dane would need to accept a pay-cut for a move.
