Arsenal make final decision on Albert Sambi Lokonga
Arsenal have made the decision to sell midfielder Albert Sambi Lokonga following his season-long loan at Luton Town.
The Belgian ace joined the Gunners from Anderlecht during the summer of 2021, but he has since made only 39 appearances for the club.
He spent last season on loan with Luton where he was impressive with one goal and three assists from 19 appearances under Rob Edwards.
Despite the promise shown, the Gunners have come to the decision to offload him on a permanent basis when the transfer window reopens.
Arsenal signed the 24-year-old for around £18m from Anderlecht and they will be aiming to recoup the entire fee with his summer departure.
The Gunners have plenty of funds to spend this summer, but manager Mikel Arteta is aiming to recoup more from player sales for more signings.
Aside from Lokonga, the likes of Eddie Nketiah , Emile Smith Rowe and Reiss Nelson are possible candidates to head for the exit door.
