The young centre-back is considered as one of the best talents in Argentina and he has been fancied to move to Europe this year.

Anselmino has previously mentioned that he is in no hurry to leave Boca, but United are optimistic that they can convince him.

The 19-year-old currently has a €20m release clause in his contract and the Red Devils are more than happy to pay the figure.

The teenager has made only nine competitive appearances thus far and United are likely to loan him out to a European club.

AC Milan are also interested in signing the talented wonderkid. The Rossoneri could assure him a first-team role next term.

Anselmino is currently on the sidelines with a hamstring injury, but this has not deterred the transfer pursuit of United and Milan.

It remains to be seen whether the youngster will accept the proposal from either club. He could decide to stay with Boca too.
