Man Utd make approach to sign Sevilla striker
Manchester United have made an approach to sign Sevilla striker Youssef En-Nesyri, according to Rudy Galetti.
The Red Devils are in the transfer market for a new centre-forward with Anthony Martial set to head for the exit door.
Martial has been with the club for the past nine years, but he will be leaving when his contract expires on June 30.
The club want an experienced striker to compete with Rasmus Hojlund and En-Nesyri is apparently the top target.
Galetti claims that the club have made a bid worth £17m for the Moroccan, who netted 20 goals for Sevilla last term.
A final decision has yet to be made by the La Liga outfit. They are prepared to assess all offers on the table this summer.
United are currently undecided over the future of manager Erik ten Hag, but they are still proceeding with their transfer plans.
The club's new management and backroom staff are expected to handle the incomings without the intervention of the manager.
